So busy!

Well, it’s been a while since I’ve had blogging time. I have been hard at work preparing a mission trip to Poland. Much of the work I have to do happens in these early days. Once the mission is upon us, I’m imagining that I will feel a little less stressed.
Last weekend I took a small team up to Edmonton to work with the youth from St. Pauls Anglican Church. It was a great weekend. We spent some time working with their youth band helping them in their development and talking about issue concerning bands and bands in churches. I think we all came out of the weekend with good stuff. It’s always good to set out to do ministry and end up being ministered to at the same time. It looks like we’ll be on our way up to be with them again for their Parish Retreat weekend. I’m really looking forward to that.
The week leading up to this weekend in Edmonton was pretty rough. Checkers, our very cute and loveable dog decided to run away from Kristy on a walk. She basically bolted off through a field and Kristy was unable to keep track of her. This all ended up costing us both a nights sleep and basically just stressing us both right out. We love our dog, you see. It turns out Checkers was taken to vet by someone who found her. We got a call from Animal services the following day. It as a HUGE relief to get that phone call. I’m so glad it’s over and she’s back home safe.
So that’s about it. Sorry there isn’t something more thought provoking here, but I’m just drained. There will be more in the future though.
